Shirley May Favilla (née Tannehill) March 10, 1943 - August 5, 2018, Resident of Campbell

Shirley May Favilla (née Tannehill) passed on Sunday, August 5 after a valiant 14-year battle through two bouts of lung cancer, a heart attack, and multiple strokes. Throughout her life, and even while she was fighting for her life, she always had a kind word and a smile for anyone who crossed her path.

Shirley was born in Jefferson City, Missouri, but hadbeen a resident of Campbell since she moved there with her family at a young age. She graduated Campbell High School. Her first job was working for her dad as a bookkeeper and secretary at Los Gatos tire. She was a stay-at-home mom for 14 years and worked in a school cafeteria for a couple years after her divorce. For the following 5 years, she worked for Acufacts Security as a
bookkeeper. In 1986, she started her final and longest lasting job at Summit Uniforms, where she continued to work until late 2017.

Shirley is survived by two sons loving sons Charles "Chuck" Favilla and James "Jim" Favilla, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Friends and family are welcome to participate in her memorial service on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11AM. It will be held at the Campbell Memorial Chapel (231 E. Campbell Ave, Campbell). The burial will be at 12:30 in Los Gatos Memorial Park (2255 Los Gatos Almaden Rd, San Jose). The reception will follow the burial.
